Why
The joy is the point
- Publishes on Google Play as
- Snailworks
- Role
- Independent Android developer
- Based in
- United States
The first app is Roof Photo Report, a local-first tool for creating organized photographic reports: projects, guided inspection templates, before-and-after pairings, PDF reports and user-controlled backups, with photographs that stay on your device.
This site is where the apps, their privacy policies and their support information live.
For the record: 1 builds are catalogued here, 1 versions have shipped, and 0 have been retired with full honours. Those numbers come straight from the content files; nothing on this site is inflated.
Process
From spark to store
Every build takes the same path. Some take a weekend, some take a year, all of them start with a dumb question.
step 01
Spark
An idea survives more than one night. It gets a codename and a note in the lab book.
step 02
Prototype
The ugliest possible version gets built first to find out if it is actually useful.
step 03
Polish
Motion, icons, empty states, the works. This is the part I secretly do it all for.
step 04
Launch
Store listing, privacy policy, screenshots, and a deep breath. Then the release notes get written honestly.
step 05
Listen
Bug reports and feature ideas from real people shape the next version. Every email is read.
