Scope
This policy covers the website at ibuildappsforfun.org. Each app has its own privacy policy (listed at the end) that describes what that app does with your data. Where an app policy and this page differ, the app policy applies to the app.
1. Data the site owner collects
The site is a static website with no accounts, no forms that submit to a server, no analytics and no advertising. The owner does not receive personal data from your visit. The only way to send the owner data is to email them (see section 5).
2. Data stored in your browser
The site remembers a few display preferences in your browser's local storage and session storage: sound on/off, visual intensity, reduced-motion choice, custom-cursor choice, and whether the intro animation has played in this session. These values never leave your device, are not readable by the owner, and can be cleared through your browser settings. No cookies are set.
3. Hosting and network processing
The site is served through Cloudflare's content delivery network. To deliver pages and protect against abuse, Cloudflare processes connection metadata such as your IP address, request headers and timing. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
4. Operational logs
Cloudflare may retain security and traffic logs for the account that hosts this site and may expose aggregate analytics to the account owner. Whether such logs are enabled, what they contain and how long they are kept depends on the account configuration.
5. Email
The contact page composes a message in your own mail application. Nothing you type is transmitted to or stored by this website. If you send the message, it travels through your email provider and the owner's email provider and is handled under their policies. The owner keeps correspondence for as long as needed to answer it and for reasonable record-keeping. Do not include passwords or payment details in email.
6. Embedded video
Where a product page offers a trailer hosted on YouTube, nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. After that, the embedded player (served from youtube-nocookie.com) is subject to Google's privacy policy, which may include cookies and usage data set by YouTube.
7. Google Play and other external sites
Links to Google Play, GitHub and other external sites lead to services with their own policies. Installing an app from Google Play is governed by Google's terms and by the app's own privacy policy.
8. Your rights
Because the site owner holds no data about your visit, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on this site. For data held by an app, use that app's privacy policy and, where available, its account-deletion page. For email correspondence you can ask the owner to delete it at any time.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
10. Changes
The date at the top is updated whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be noted on the devlog.
